There really isn’t ever something that special about a sandwich, but this place is definitely doing something right. Whenever I am home in Hawai’i, I have to take a drive down to the north shore for some Storto’s. My absolute favorite sandwich from there is the Rocky Point, which is roast beef, ham, and pastrami, along with my choices of lettuce, tomatoes, and ranch dressing.
Stortos’ bread is baked fresh daily, and you will definitely know it with your first bite. Something about biting into this massive sub, which doesn’t cost all that much, makes the drive and crowds totally worth it. The savory tastes of fresh produce, along with the spice of the combination of roast beef and ham always adds a cherry to the top of spending my day in the north shore.
